Guys! Ivy Park, Beyonce’s active wear brand has a new collaborative collection dropping very soon, matter of fact, it’s dropping this Friday. Fans around the world are buzzing with excitement as she teases on social media. This new collection is of course in collaboration with sportswear giant ADIDAS, together this will be their second venture. The first Ivy Park collection under Adidas launched in January. It was first launched with Topshop in 2016 but B had to pull out, find out more about that here.
A Few Weeks Ago
A few weeks ago the superstar started her tease campaign on social media, particularly her personal Instagram with a myriad of images and videos modeling the newest gear. She showed off the Ivy Park x Adidas designs in a very illustrative fashion.
An assortment of active wear is showcased here and as you can see, it’s not just clothing for the gym but they can be worn outside of it and even the office which I believe is a dream come through. Being able to wear relaxing office ready active wear and not be judged for it is truly a blessing, but it begs the question, all great collections pursue a deep meaning behind them, so what is Beyonce representing this time.
This Is My Park!
The theme for this collection revolves around finding your “Park“. During the pandemic Beyonce had to look within herself to find and manifest what drives her. The result was Zoom calls with her kids, having fashion Friday shows where she posted some of her most celebrated looks. Now she’s asking us: what drives us, what are our dreams and motivations, what makes us go into beast mode?.
She’s telling us that This is her park in her clothing, what’s yours?.
The launch of this new collection offers clothing that can be worn in and out of the gym, but additionally it’s got more inclusive sizing which ranges from XXXS to 4X, so fans who couldn’t get in on the action before, can now. The gender neutral aesthetic boasts an inclusive and forward thinking brand that men, women and others can be a part of.
The pieces range from tracksuits to full length body suits and also leotards which you can see her model on her Instagram page and here.
The colours offered that we know of right now includes a vibrant coral, mesa, yellow tint, and dark green with sneakers, belts and bags to match.
Shoe Game Upgrade
The sneakers seem to get welcomed additions to the colours to match the color theme of the new collection namely the UltraBOOSTs, Nite Joggers and newly introduced Ivy Park Forum which offers both mid and low top versions, you see her modeling them strapped to her waist and even silhouettes on her feet.
These use classic Adidas models as their base and then incorporate innovative lacing and hook systems that allow them to be clipped to a gym bag.
So are you guys excited for this new drop? With an uplifting color palette and meaning behind this collection I believe many of us can get behind it, the prices may range from $25 to $250 although this is just a guess but it should be affordable.
It’s slated to release on Adidas.com and Adidas app on October 29th, but officially in stores on the 30th. My gosh ya’ll know the brand sells out quickly so I suggest you don’t sleep the day before and get ready.
